I’m thrilled to share some exciting insights into the creation of my latest duology, “Her Demon's Desire” and “Her Demon's Soul.” This journey has been nothing short of magical, and I’m so excited to take you behind the scenes of this epic tale.

The inspiration for this story came from the timeless myth of Eros and Psyche, which has always captured my imagination. It’s a story that has everything— a mysterious lover, betrayal and heartbreak, impossible challenges, and a heroine willing to defy a goddess to reclaim the love that has been torn from her. Reimagining this classic love story in a fantastical world ruled by demons was both a challenge and a joy. This is a realm where the stakes are incredibly high, love is fiercely forbidden, and every choice could mean the difference between life and death.

One of the biggest challenges in writing this series was balancing the intricate world-building with the deep, emotional journeys that the two main characters—Tanitha and Darius— go through. Crafting an interesting and engaging new world while ensuring that the romance remained the heart of the story was a difficult process that stretched my abilities as a writer. On the other side of it, though, I’m so proud of what I accomplished and all the new skills I learned to do it. And seeing Tanitha grow from a common human girl into a powerful heroine, and Darius evolve from a dutiful prince to a devoted lover willing to defy his fate, made every moment worth it.

Writing these books was a labor of love. Every scene, every line of dialogue, was written with you, the reader, in mind. I wanted to create a story that would sweep you off your feet, make your heart race, and keep you up late at night, turning pages to see what happens next. Initially I planned to release these books separately, but when it came down to it, I decided that with the way Book One ends, readers are going to want Book Two in their hands immediately!

I believe readers will fall in love with Tanitha and Darius’s story just as much as I have. Their journey is filled with passion, danger, and the kind of epic love that defies all odds. If you’re a fan of romantasy, mythic retellings, and tales of forbidden love, I think you’re going to adore this duology.
